Dear All,
I am pleased to report, that the talks with a potential host for a Worldchampionship in 2027 have entered the next phase.
Croatia has offered to host a M & 10R World Championship in 2027.
The potential venues are Trogir and Sibenik. Both venues offer great access for the predominant wind directions and have been host to international RC regattas in the past. Discussions are ongoing to choose the best location for both sailing but also accommodation and social events.
We are looking at an event to be held in April of 2027. This offers the best sailing conditions as well as availability of volunteers for the organisers.
The idea is for 4 days of 10R and 5 days of M racing. A lay day between both regattas is to be decided.
We will share further details as decisions are taken.

The current EC decided to held a General Assembly until 1st of September 2026. As a significant number of EC members do not want to continue we are seeking for personal proposals for nearly every position of the Executive Committee:
- Chairman
- Secretary
- Events Chairman
- Technical Chairman
- Finance Chairman
are the positions which needs to be set.

- 5 months from the meeting:
These Member Meeting notifications and dates shall be issued to the EC, IMCA
Members and any other group or individual that the EC considers has an official
interest in being involved. - 4 months from the meeting:
Proposals for amendments to Class Rules submitted to the TC. - 3 months from the meeting:
All Member and other interested party proposals to the EC.
Officer nominations submitted if the meeting is a GA. - 2 months from the meeting:
Proposals from the EC.
Agenda published. - 4 weeks from the meeting:
Member declarations of Owner and Boat numbers. - 2 weeks from the meeting:
Notification from the Members of any changes to their Representative and/or
Address for the meeting.

The International Marblehead class is seeking hosts for the upcoming 2027 World Championship. This is a unique opportunity for clubs and venues to be at the center of the global Marblehead sailing community.
Submission Deadline: All bids must be submitted by August 1st, 2026.

During the European Nation Cup in Sankt Moritz we had the opportunity to speak with the chairman of the organization committee
